Elsa ATB June 16th, 2008 -- Monday June 16th, 2008
After a lenghty illness with her lymph glands, Miss Elsa was helped to the bridge this evening with much sorrow. Elsa and I had become very close during her time with Senior Houndsabound. With her blindness, it took some time, but she began trusting me, and I never wanted to do anything to betray her trust. She will be very much missed in our home.
3 new basset girls from B -- Monday October 8th, 2007
I will be driving to Valdosta on Friday, the12th, to meet with Stacy from BHRG and take three of their seniors girls back home with me.
Thank you BHRG for trusting me with your precious seniors, they will be very loved and cared for in our home!
Domino is here -- Monday October 8th, 2007
Domino, formerly known as Black Jack, is here with us and settling into life very well!
He found his way onto the bed last night and snuggled in for a solid nights' sleep, amongst the gentle snores from the other hounds. He is so friendly, loving, and gentle, it is hard to understand how he ended up in rescue, but we lucked out, cause we have him now!
3 senior basset girls -- Friday September 28th, 2007
In about two weeks, we are due to receive 3 senior basset hound girls from Basset Rescue of Georgia!
We are thrilled to be able to partner with them and take a few of their seniors. This will free up some space for their fosters homes to take in more bassets in need!

Well, Senior Houndsabound is making huge strides! Our 501c3 is pending, and we can now accept donations via Paypal. We are working hard on getting our Petfinder Site up and running, all while looking after our Senior Friends! Keep your eyes peeled and ears perked, as there are MANY big things coming up!
