Nathan was a scrawny little guy when we got him from animal services. He has gained abour 5 lbs since with us and still needs 1 or 2 more. We have enjoyed bulking him up. He loves to eat, as you might imagine with a Beagle, so we will watch him closely now that we are near his goal so that we do not tip his weight in the wrong direction. Nathan had to have his left eye removed due to a tumor. He is UTD on his shots, had a dental and was also neutered since we have had him. He is a very sweet Beagle boy, but is a bit independant. This just means he is not needing to be near you all the time like some Beagles I know! He does enjoying sleeping on the beds at the bottom if he has a choice. I have not heard one bark from him yet, but imagine there is a bark and howl waiting inside him ot come out. He enjoys all the other hounds here, although playing is not his thing. Nathan would do well with a quiet home and someone to cal his own and to love!
