Pal is absolutely, without a doubt, one of the most loving and sweet beagles you will ever meet.  He loves you, your family, friends, children and all their dogs, too!!  Pal is housetrained and really well behaved overall in the house.  He does like to grab a toy off the floor and see if you will chase him but he will absolutely drop it as soon as you give the order.  All he cares to do is please you.
Pal loves, loves, loves his walks--and it doesn't have to be a long one.  The Florida heat makes him tired as quickly as you--or he will hang in there as long as you!  No doubt, though, is that walk time is his favorite.  Pal loves to play with my kids as well--and is absolutely terrific with all the kids carting through as guests also!
Pal would love to hang with you on the couch.  He would also like to play fetch with you.  He enjoys everyone in the family and is so grateful for any and all attention.  He is very quiet, except when you first return home from work or if someone rings the doorbell.  Pal loves his canine friends but also knows respect and his place in the pack.
I absolutely adore this guy and will be very sad for us to have him go to his forever home--but thrilled for him.  He deserves nothing but the best!!
UPDATE:  Pal is looking so good, folks!  He is really keeping up with his diet & exercise and is down to 33.8 pounds already!  He is such a good boy!
UPDATE 2/28/10:  Pal is down to 25.8 pounds!!  He is such a good boy and really doing well in his foster home!!  I don't think we could ask for a better boy.  We have learned he definitely needs to be in a home with at least one other dog or he gets lonely but with a companion he is just perfect.
