We say a sad goodbye to Dallas, our very first Bounder
Dallas came to us from Alabama where she was discarded after not being breeding material any more. We were blessed to have her with us. This sweet petite little girl loved everyone, hound and person, she met. At right around 35-40 pounds, she could easily be picked up and cradled/rocked like a baby, which she asked for numerous times in a day. I only wish I could have held her as often as she asked for it. Cutaneous lymphoma showed up in Dallas. When it was discovered, she was already in end stage. We let her go with her dignity to the bridge on June 10, 2009
She was the littlest, but had the biggest presence, probably due to her very big loving heart.
Fly free my Dal-al!

How can you help ???
It is simple! Use Goodsearch! Simply go to http://www.goodsearch.com/
Under "Who do you search for?" Type in Senior Houndsabound, Inc then verify.....you are done!
Everytime you use this for an internet search, you earn money, (okay, a penny, but it adds up!) for the seniors here. Simple, and it didn't hurt at all! Please help make a difference for these special hounds!
Due to many requests, we are opening up the Daily Support Days for the 2010 Senior Basset calendar.
What does this mean?
It means you can email me, houndsabound@att.net, and secure a date for your hound or any other pet, to have their picture on a day in the 2010 calendar.
For just $5 for each day you request, you can help support the senior bassets and beagles here at Senior Houndsabound, AND get your pets' picture in the only calendar out there to specifically honor senior bassets!
I know it is early in the year, but people are already emailing with their requests, don't dawdle!
Senior Houndsabound, Inc is a 501(c)(3) charity
